Board of Supervisor’s Meeting
August 29, 2024

Minutes
- Call to Order by Chairman Karbash.
Present: Karbash and Supervisor Overbeek
- Pledge of Allegiance recited.
- Request approval to close section of Anderson Road during August 31, 2024 party
Property owner of N6462 Milwaukee Road requested to close north end of Milwaukee Road, not Anderson Road, with barricades on 8/31/2024 from 1 – 7 PM for a Family/ Neighborhood party, due to concern for safety and traffic coming around the curve with limited visibility.
Supervisor Overbeek stated this would not be impacting anyone from accessing the road from the south, if necessary.
Due to no quorum being present, Chairman Karbash gave permission for Milwaukee Road to be closed on the north end on 8/31/2024 from 1 – 7 PM, on advice from Supervisor in charge of Town roads.
Overbeek abstains from vote, due to not having a quorum present.
Chairman Karbash recommends that, in the future, the property owner present any road closure requests at regularly scheduled Town Board meetings.
Clerk to call non-emergency Sheriff number to update regarding road closure information.
- Motion by Overbeek, Second by Karbash, to adjourn. Overbeek and Karbash agree.
Adjourn at 7:05 PM.
