Special Board of Supervisors Meeting

Minutes

Chairman Jeff Karbash called the meeting to order at 7:00pm. Present: Karbash, Supervisors Susan Miller, Steve Wade, Tom Kraus. Absent: Supervisor Dave Overbeek. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Clerk Barb Ceas reported on information from the recent WI Towns Association District Meeting regarding ARPA procurement requirements, noted one item included a formal procurement policy and an Ethics policy and that both State and Federal requirements must be followed. Clerk presented a Draft procurement policy to the Board.  After Board discussion, Miller Moved to approve and execute the proposed procurement policy, Second by Wade, passed unanimously. Clerk was unable to clarify further – she will contact WTA for more information, and Miller will consult with Baker Tilly as well.

Generator Purchase Ad and Specification Sheet. Clerk provided an ad and spec sheet based on Wade’s draft ad and format used in our road bid process. Consensus was to send copies to Adams Electric, Ackley Electric and Brody Brown Electric in addition to ad placement. After discussion, Miller Moved to use the draft wording provided by Supervisor Wade as being more descriptive for the specifications, adding the “gas pipe and regulator” under requirements. Second by Kraus, passed unanimously. Motion by Miller, Second by Kraus to Adjourn, passed unanimously. Respectfully submitted,
